VE Issue #1

Vanishing Elephant unveiled their latest project, a label Zine, at their inaugural Fashion Week Show this April. Free in-store now and also available to download, the first edition is titled “Working” and sets up the foundations for what is sure to be a long lasting publication. With prose, art, photography, editorials and creative minds alike featured, the short and sweet Zine is impressing already in its first edition.

The cover features exclusive art by creative and VE friend, Dane Lovett. Inside is bolstered by images from photographer Trevor King on Surfing, musings from James Ross-Edwards on Long-Haul travel and Laura Bannister on Archival – a profile of architects. Poetry also features from Raymond Chandler as well as Anna Metcalfe on the cover artist himself.

The current collection finds place in the way of an editorial grab from the recent campaign. A look in-store also features products available for the discerning VE customer.

Working is available in the VE flagship store in Melbourne’s QV, 14 Albert Coates Lane. The issue also comes with all online purchases or to download, and is 100% free.
