Stripfest
More than just a cheeky name, Stripfest is an arts festival held on St Kilda’s Acland St holding events for all tastes and ages that celebrates the experience of a shopping strip different from your run-of-the-mill malls. Take Monday to enjoy community choir practices (talent not needed) or enjoy the music of the Beatles (cover bands), or explore one of the many talks and exhibitions going all week long.

The Bombay Royale
Starting with classic songs from old Bollywood movies, this band has now transformed their performance into a mash up of surf rock, swirling dance and big ball of colour. Just back from a world tour, this eleven piece hits Brunswick to get the crowds dancing, with a bit less Jai Ho and a bit more street cred.

First day of the Asian Food Festival
