Burberry is the master of classic iconic style – redefined. So how does one of the world largest fashion houses celebrate the new season campaign of it’s eyewear? With a worldwide party of course!

Last month Burberry launched it’s Summer 2012 Eyewear campaign featuring a cast of British musicians: One Night Only, Maria Hackman, Life in Film and The Daydream Club. These British rockers were selected by Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey and collaborated with him to create a unique series of music videos – all featuring the Burberry frames of course.
To celebrate Burberry held a worldwide party – each of these previously mentioned brands were chosen to play at one of four cities across the world. What a fantastic way to get the word out about Burberry’s support of upcoming talent. Paris, Milan, New York and Sydney played host over four nights during May and Couturing were lucky enough to be invited to the Sydney launch.

Celebrities and fashion identities arrived in droves to see redefined iconic shades which are available at Sunglass Hut and classic opticals which can be purchased at OPSM. Celebrities included Megan Washington, Kris Smith, Miranda Otto, Christine Centenera (Fashion Editor Harper’s BAZAAR) and of course Burberry Sydney’s hosts, Life in Film who played.

See the fabulous images below as well as a look at some of the frames. Thank you Luxottica and AWPR, from the looks of things Sydney sure did compete with the other fashion capitals!
