The ever-popular Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea is steeped in tradition having attracted generations of families, who return year-after-year for one of the city’s most memorable experiences. This year, The Hotel Windsor will be serving up over 2000 scones on Mothers Day! Mothers can enjoy an extravagant afternoon with ribbon sandwiches, delicious pastries and freshly baked scones, served on tiered silver stands with tea and unlimited French sparkling wine on offer. Guests will also be treated to a decadent dessert buffet featuring mouthwatering cakes and sweets. The guests of
honor will also have a specially made dessert for the occasion created by Executive Pastry Chef Gette Eliso – Gâteau Saint-Honoré – the cake named after the patron saint of bakers and pastry chefs.
In the lead up to Mother’s Day, $2 from every Afternoon Tea sold between Monday 7 to Saturday 12 May will be donated to the Miracle Mums appeal supporting the incredible work of The Royal Women’s Hospital.

Nomada will be offering a set menu for both lunch and dinner on Mother‘s Day.
Dishes include Coffin Bay oyster, slow cooked egg with creamed leek, spanner crab and Yarra Valley caviar, rabbit rillette, leek and manchego cheese croqueta, coal grilled calamari, milk braised lamb shoulder, patatas bravas and to finish, churros with chocolate.
