Zimmermann opens new Bondi Junction boutique

Zimmermann hosted a cocktail party in its Bondi Junction boutique on Thursday night to celebrate the opening of the new store. Guests sipped on Veuve Clicquot and enjoyed the tastes of West Australian lobster with finger lime caviar and glazed fig tartlets with prosciutto and gorgonzola as they browsed the current Resort Ready-To-Wear collection. Cool, summery tunes with a retro throw-back set the perfect mood for the interactive photo-shoot set that saw media and VIPs really let their hair down.

The store was designed by Zimmermann’s long-time collaborator, architect Don McQualter. Featuring a series of interlocking barrel vaults, luxurious curved glass portals and textured render finishes, mirror walls and blackened steel fixtures modernise the fresh interior update.

Located in Bondi Junction’s Westfield, the new retail space occupies a large corner position in the evolving luxury precinct and is a continuation of the brand’s Australian retail growth and focus. In addition to the upgraded Bondi Junction store, Zimmermann has opened three new boutiques nationally in the past year.

The Australian expansion sets a strong foundation for Zimmermann’s global vision. The brand’s retail presence now stands at 19 independent stores including three in the US. Zimmermann’s collections continue to find success with luxury department stores and wholesale partners worldwide including David Jones, Barneys, Saks, NET-A-PORTER and Shopbop.

Zimmermann’s new boutique is located at Shop 3048, Westfield, 500 Oxford Street Bondi Junction.
