Cult Australian fragrance house Goldfield & Banks has reimagined its viral Sunset Hour with the launch of Sunset Hour Dark Peach, now available online at Sephora Australia and landing in stores from 5 August. Inspired by the glowing sunsets of Broome in Western Australia, the fragrance captures the moment daylight fades into dusk, taking the iconic ingredients of the original Sunset Hour and immersing them in the warmth of rum for a richer, darker and more addictive take on the Australian Desert Peach.
The composition opens with juicy mandarin and pink berries wrapped in a rum infused glow, before organic ginger adds a subtle spiced accent that keeps the scent feeling vibrant rather than heavy. As it develops, an overdose of vanilla blends with woody ambers and tonka beans to create a velvety, layered trail that lingers long after application. Composed by Clement Marx, the fragrance is designed to move fluidly from bright and juicy to creamy and golden, mirroring the shift from sunset into night.
To mark the launch, Goldfield & Banks founder and CEO Dimitri Weber will host exclusive fragrance masterclasses at Sephora Melbourne Central on Thursday 6 August, giving Sephora Black and Gold Pass Beauty Members an immersive scent journey and personalised consultations. The brand will also feature at the House of Sephora event on 26 and 27 August, which will open to the public for the first time, offering fragrance lovers the chance to discover Sunset Hour Dark Peach through complimentary samples and personalised scent discovery.
Sunset Hour Dark Peach is priced at $280.00 for 100ml and $54.00 for 10ml and available at Sephora online and instore from 5 August.
