Maybelline New York has introduced its first tubing mascara to the range, with Sky Tubes promising extension-like lashes and an easy, lash-friendly removal process.
Unlike a traditional mascara that coats the lashes, Sky Tubes works by wrapping each individual lash in a lightweight, flexible tube. The result is up to 24 hours of wear without smudging, flaking or transferring, making it a solid option for humid days, workouts or a big night out. The smudge-proof formula is also rain and sweat resistant, so it holds up when the weather does not cooperate.
The brush is fitted with tapered micro bristles designed to stretch and separate every lash for maximum length and definition. In fact, 94 per cent of users agreed the formula instantly lengthens lashes.
Formulated with lash health in mind, the vegan Care-in-Tubes formula is infused with shea butter and castor oil to help condition and strengthen lashes while still delivering on length.
When it is time to take it off, there is no need for heavy duty makeup remover or vigorous rubbing. The tubes simply slide off with one swipe in warm water, a gentle process that helps protect lashes and minimise breakage and loss.
