Eight-time World Champion Stephanie Gilmore has reunited with Rip Curl for the launch of the Rip Curl x Stephanie Gilmore Volume 3 Collection, a vintage-inspired range that celebrates the golden era of surf style while embracing a fresh, contemporary aesthetic. Launching this July, the latest collaboration draws inspiration from Gilmore’s love of archival surf fashion, reimagining classic Rip Curl designs with updated colourways across apparel, swimwear and wetsuits.
Building on the success of the first two collections, Volume 3 blends relaxed silhouettes, nostalgic graphics, heritage logos and washed textures with the performance and functionality synonymous with Rip Curl. Standout pieces include the SG Heritage Oversized Fleece, retro-inspired swimwear, relaxed denim, oversized tees and performance wetsuits, creating a versatile collection designed to transition effortlessly from the waves to everyday wear. Gilmore said the collection reflects her passion for timeless surf style, combining vintage inspiration with updated fits that feel relaxed, wearable and perfect for travel or post-surf comfort.
The release coincides with an exciting chapter in Gilmore’s career, following her return to the World Surf League Tour after a 2023 hiatus and her recent victory at the WSL Gold Coast Pro. Having been part of the Rip Curl family since signing with the brand at just 12 years old, Gilmore continues to influence the evolution of women’s surf style while honouring the brand’s rich heritage through her ongoing design collaboration.
