Internationally renowned denim expert, Jason Denham, has brought his jean’s empire to Australia with the Denham pop-up store at The Emporium. Featuring a tried and true religion of “convention prevents progress” these guys are it-and-a-bit and are fast becoming the leaders in denim.

Visiting the Denham pop-up store at The Emporium one thing was clear – these guys knew denim. Founded in 2008, the small team of artisans, with over half a century of knowledge, work hard to perfect every fine detail in their jeans. Blending a subtle Danish modernity with cutting edge Japanese denim techniques means a perfectly balanced and ultra comfortable pair of jeans – some of the most comfortable this writer has ever worn.

At the Denham pop-up jeans are repaired, tailored and customised free of charge so you are given the perfect fit, for a lifetime – they are guaranteed for life as they do repairs whenever you need. These are jeans built to last, and when they eventually give you can come back to give them a second life!

Speaking with the local team instore, it was clear their knowledge was just as sound as the designers based in Amsterdam and Tokyo, as I was shown through examples of repaired and tailored denim showing refined and detailed skill. Definitely people I would trust with my denim for repairs.

This is a must-visit for all denim lovers. Denham can be found at The Emporium as a pop-up and soon to be included as part of the Superglue store.
