Good Group’s renowned modern Asian restaurant, White + Wong’s has opened its doors, as part of Chadstone Shopping Centre’s exciting new entertainment precinct – The Social Quarter.

Spanning two levels, the 750 sqm restaurant hosts up to 265 guests and boasts its own bar. The lower level is the vibrant main dining room with brightly coloured chairs, red and white lanterns, custom wallpapers and an open kitchen that provides diners with a view of the kitchen.

On the upper level, guests experience stunning city views from their seats, as well as an expansive outdoor balcony offering up uninterrupted city skyline views. Sardine bar, which is a venue all of its own within White + Wong’s, is the perfect place to enjoy cocktails after shopping, for locals to relax over a drink or two and, of course, pre and post-dinner drinks.

On the menu, diners will be treated to a delectable range of modern Asian-fusion dishes sure to deliver an intense flavour hit with every mouthful and perfect for sharing.

To kick off the meal, guests can order a selection of raw/cold cuts, such as Fijian-style Sashimi of Kingfish (heirloom tomatoes, chilli, lime, coconut cream, coriander), Bang Bang Chicken Salad (cucumber, bean sprouts, peanuts, sesame seeds, black vinegar, chilli dressing), and Sesame Nori-crusted Seared Tuna (pickled fennel, cucumber wasabi gel, nori crisps).

Warm bites ideal for sharing with a group include Prawn and Coriander Crystal Skin Dumplings, Duck and Chive Xiao Long Bao, and Crispy Soft Shell Crab (garlic, chilli, bean sprouts, spring onions, Sichuan peppers).

Those looking for something a little more substantial can opt for dishes such as the half-serve of Peking Duck (house-made plum sauce, cucumber, spring onion), Red Curry of Beef Shin (coconut cream, almonds, fresh lime) and Kung Pao Chicken (green beans, peanuts, garlic, chives, chilli). Paired with tasty side options of Char Siu Pork and Prawn Fried RiceGreen Papaya Salad (dried shrimp, peanuts, mint, ponzu and sesame dressing) and Wok-fried Broccolini, diners are sure to be left feeling well-fed.

To satisfy sweet tooth cravings, dessert options include Deep Fried Ice Cream (salted butterscotch sauce), Banoffee Sundae (salted caramel ice cream, miso, chocolate rice puffs, nougat) and Yuzu Curd (mascarpone Chantilly, coconut sorbet, Swiss meringue, freeze-dried berries).

White + Wong’s is also perfect for larger groups, thanks to the Grand Banquet ($85pp) and Emperor Banquet ($115pp) menus, which offer the chance to share a selection of the restaurant’s signature dishes amongst friends,  family and colleagues.

White + Wong’s even have pre and post-drinks sorted thanks to Sardine bar, where cocktail-lovers can enjoy sips before dining at the restaurant, or simply after a long day spent shopping.
