Starward Whisky and Four Pillars Gin have popped up at Myer in Melbourne just in time for Christmas making it easier to pick up your favourite spirits for the perfect Christmas present.
STARWARD WHISKY
Iconic Port Melbourne based distillery, Starward Whisky has opened its first ever whisky pop up in Myer Melbourne’s Giftorium, offering consumers the chance to get their hands on Starward’s limited-edition ‘Personalise Your Own’ whisky. The Starward pop up is exclusive to Myer Melbourne’s Giftorium for Christmas 2019 and will offer only 1,200 bottles of the ‘Personalise Your Own’ limited batch single malt Australian whisky. Housed in a contemporary Starward gift box, the ‘Personalise Your Own’ whisky will allow consumers to add their own bespoke name and message, creating a once in a lifetime gift.
The ‘Personalise Your Own’ single malt has been matured in four Australian red wine barrels from the Barossa Valley which provide delicious red wine characteristics Starward whisky is renowned for. “For this limited batch release, three of the barrels were filled with minimal interference to provide big, fresh, jammy red fruit flavours, whilst the fourth barrel was charred adding bold, oak characters creating complexity and vibrancy to the taste profile. The result is a full-bodied whisky with fruity wine, red berry and banoffee pie notes, best to be enjoyed as a traditional neat serve,” says founder David Vitale.
In addition to purchasing and personalising the limited batch release, consumers will have the chance to taste and buy other whiskies from the Starward
range including single malt Nova, double-grain Two-Fold and distillery batched cocktails: (New) Old Fashioned and Red Manhattan, as well as the limited-edition 2019 Christmas whisky – the Starward Tawny. To round up the offering, premium Starward branded merchandise including cocktail kits, flasks, whisky glasses and caps will be on sale, ideal gifts for any whisky lover.

FOUR PILLARS GIN
Four Pillars Gin has a Christmas Pop up at Myer Melbourne and Myer Chadstone and is stocked with delicious Four Pillars Gin and Made from Gin products, the perfect gifts for Gin lovers this Christmas. On offer will be all of Four Pillars’ core range of gins, as well as some limited releases otherwise only available direct from the distillery in Healesville and, of course, the annual release 2019 Australian Christmas Gin.
The pop-ups will also stock Four Pillars’ new Made from Gin products – a Cranberry & Gin Orange Relish and a Rare Dry Gin Glaze – along with old favourites like Rare Dry Gin Chocolate and Breakfast Negroni Marmalade.
In line with Four Pillars commitment to sustainability, not only are the pop-up stores fully sustainable (made from 100% recycled & recyclable materials), but Four Pillars’ Made from Gin products are also made from the by-products of Four Pillars’ gin production, including leftover botanicals and gin-steamed oranges.
