Tickets for Australia’s original sell-out gin festival Juniperlooza are on sale with two days to choose from including Saturday 15 or Sunday 16 of February at The Boatbuilders Yard and Polly Woodside.

Juniperlooza 2020 is set to be the biggest one yet with 23 boutique Australian and international gin producers serving up their own signature cocktails alongside both classic and twisted takes on the iconic G&T.

PROSECCO FESTIVAL POP UP

Prosecco lovers it’s time to rejoice – grab the crew, tell your mates or just bring yourself, because this taste teaser is for those of you who just can’t wait until the full shebang of the Prosecco Festival in February! But let’s face it, there’s really no reason you shouldn’t do both – the more Prosecco, the merrier!

 

On 9 December, this Prosecco party will be thrown at Fatto Bar & Cantina, over looking the Yarra. Prosecco-fiends are in for a mouth watering experience. Just $27- will allow you to start off the night with a Spritz thanks to Select Aperitivo, then sip and swirl your way through 10+ different Proseccos from the likes of Dal Zotto and Tenuta 2 Castelli, plus snack on some delicious cheese, salami and other antipasto delights at the grazing station, all whilst enjoying some smooth grooves from the rooftop’s private DJ. With a little added twist you can be first to taste a brand new Bubbly Rose from Tenuta 2 Castelli which will be launching on the night.

DAIRY FLAT FARM & LODGE OPEN DAY

Regional Victoria’s immersive new travel destination, Dairy Flat Farm and Lodge, will open its doors to the public on Saturday 7 December.

Dairy Flat Farm and Lodge is the latest project from the team behind Daylesford’s renowned Lake House, the Wolf-Tasker family, who have long been innovators in regional Australian hospitality and tourism and champions of sustainable, local produce.

Dairy Flat Farm’s Open Day is the perfect day out for the whole family. Located just seven kilometres from Daylesford, there will be tours of the vegetable and cutting gardens and guests will be free to wander around the Lodge and formal gardens, the olive grove, down the pear walk to the dam and through the orchard.

Breads and pastries from resident baker Michael James will be available for purchase along with coffee and other refreshments from the on-site Bake House. Guests can also pick up freshly harvested vegetables, herbs, flowers and a variety of Christmas gift giving inspiration can be found at the Farm Shop.

All proceeds will go to the Daylesford Primary School Kitchen Garden Project of which Alla Wolf-Tasker AM is founding patron.
