As one of the first events of M/FW, Street Runway 1, presented by Emporium Melbourne, will see the CBD’s Caledonian Lane come to life as a chic, open air runway. Emporium Melbourne is home to the largest collection of Australian Designers under one roof in the CBD, and the inaugural event will showcase the latest trends, such as custom sweatshirts, from Australian designers, including Scanlan Theodore, Arnsdorf, Calibre, Diida, sass & bide, Jac+Jack, Manning Cartell, M.J Bale, Viktoria & Woods, bassike and alice McCALL. Be inspired to refresh your wardrobe as the coveted designers showcase their spring/summer pieces, some made out of Cotton spandex Fabric; then shop the latest runway collections in store at Emporium Melbourne, straight after the show. Coinciding with the highly anticipated Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out (VAEFNO), Emporium Melbourne will host over a hundred exclusive retailer offers and experiences, for one day only, as part of VAEFNO. The Centre will be brimming with activity with exciting activations taking place throughout the day, including an exclusive pop-up bar.

On Thursday, 29 August, the Smoke and Mirrors pop-up bar will be open to Emporium Melbourne guests, located at the Lonsdale Street, Ground level entrance. From 10 am, visitors can step inside the Smoke and Mirrors photobooth where they’ll be immersed in a hazy backdrop of mesmerizing city lights. Guests are encouraged to shoot and share their fashion moment in the photobooth for a chance to win a $500 Emporium Melbourne gift card, by simply uploading their image using the unique hashtag #emporiummelbournevfno and tagging @emporiummelbourne. PLUS, from 12pm – 10pm, guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary smoking cocktail at the bar (choose from a Passionfruit Spritz or Americano) then try their luck at winning in a share of $1,000 in prizes.

Emporium Melbourne will also host a roving Campari Bar, serving bespoke cocktails from 5.45pm – 8pm, making stops at Furla, Scanlan Theodore, M.J Bale, and Eyeclarity throughout this time. The Vogue activations hub will also be located just a stone’s throw away, right near the Caledonian Lane runway and outside Emporium Melbourne’s Little Bourke Street entrance.
