This Christmas, in celebration of the 80th anniversary of Walt Disney’s first animated feature, Snow White, and the
Seven Dwarves, Emporium Melbourne, in collaboration with The Walt Disney Company, is delighted to present an
enchanting new exhibition never before seen in Australia.

From 30 November, Emporium Melbourne visitors will be able to embrace the magic of Disney and discover ‘who is the fairest one of all’ in an immersive Mirror-Mirror experience. They will also have the opportunity to cast their eyes over the sparkling Disney-inspired gowns created by Australian couture designer Paolo Sebastian.

Exclusive to Emporium Melbourne, the interactive exhibition will be on display throughout the Christmas season until Christmas Eve, inviting guests to rediscover the treasured tale of Disney’s Snow White. The immersive Mirror-Mirror experience celebrates the fairytale’s iconic moments, such as Snow White’s red apple, the magic mirror, and the wonders of the enchanted forest. It’s a spectacular experience in Melbourne’s CBD, and one that is sure to incite wonder and delight visitors of all ages.

The exhibition will also showcase the mesmerizing work of designer Paul Vasileff of Paolo Sebastian, who was awarded the 2017 ‘Young Australian of the Year.’ In October, the Adelaide designer closed the Adelaide Fashion Festival with his Disney inspired ‘Once Upon a Dream’ Couture Collection. Now, Emporium Melbourne will host five of his original couture creations inspired by the Disney princess Snow White. Emporium Melbourne Centre Manager Kate Rooney said: ‘‘It is a great pleasure and honor for Emporium Melbourne to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. We are delighted to offer our customers and visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the iconic fairytale through the Mirror-Mirror experience. “Guests will also be able to view Paolo Sebastian’s magical gowns inspired by the iconic fairytale. Emporium Melbourne continues to celebrate the best names in fashion, beauty and lifestyle, and internationally-acclaimed designer Paul Vasileff’s gowns bring the wonderful world of Disney to life for contemporary audiences,” she added.

Emporium Melbourne invites Melburnians to be part of the Disney magic from Thursday, 30 November until Christmas Eve. Emporium Melbourne celebrates Christmas throughout December hosting a range of weeknight events. Emporium Melbourne will offer extended trading hours every day from 6 December.
