During recent travels, LIFEwithBIRD designers Bridget McCall and Nicholas Van Messne discovered several perfumeries, and experienced the power of combining multiple sensory elements and layers that work in harmony to create something beautiful. It was this experience that inspired and informed their latest collection, The Editions.
A high level of detail and finding beauty in complexity forms the basis of the collection, with luxe digital prints overlaid on delicate fabrics…all with a twist. A prime example is the digital silk chiffon print, which was inspired from a molecular level. After viewing fragrances under a microscope, an animal cellular pattern emerged as a key element, which resulted in the arresting Compound Print.
The colour palate of crisp whites and neutrals are highlighted with navy, citron, and reds, and structure remains a key design aspect from the much-loved brand.
In stores now, The Editions is a luxe, inspiring take on spring fashion, and shows the next step from LIFEwithBIRD.
