SS14 at Chadstone officially launched with a grand runway in the shopping centre’s luxury precinct on Thursday night, curated by style icon Olivia Palermo. Known for a wardrobe that mixes designer and high street designs, Palermo chose to wear a trench coat from Witchery, pairing it with a matching necklace and bracelet set also from the high street store.

Speaking about her intimate wedding in June where she divided critics with her decision to where a cashmere knit and Carolina Herrera skirt, Palermo indicated that they were looking forward to planning a bigger ceremony where they could celebrate with more family and friends.

Talking about how she maintains her enviable figure, the official face of Chadstone’s SS14 Campaign said that while she loves to eat healthily, she does indulge in carbs on the odd occasion. Despite her busy schedule, she always tries to fit in some Bikram yoga to clear her mind and keep her feeling good.

Models took to the runway in outfits curated by Palermo from her favourite Australian designers, including Witchery, Seed, Country Road, sass & bide, Willow, Manning Cartell and Arthur Galan.

Key trends including Wild Flower, White Noise, Urban Jungle, Haute Sport, Retro Super Future and Global Warrior. While every look might not be for you, the key pieces Palermo suggests to invest in are floral dress, white tops and bottoms, flowy animal print maxi’s, sports luxe inspired pieces and strong, feminine silhouettes. The key thing that Palermo emphasised is not be a slave to a trend and to inject your own personality into it.
