Rae morris

Following on from the global success of the ‘Rae Morris Magnetic’ makeup brush range, leading Australian makeup artist Rae Morris will be launching into Mecca Cosmetica in early 2018, with her innovative Jishaku Brush Range.
Made in Japan, this collection sees every brush design more refined, with lighter handles and optimising Rae’s world first magnetic functionality (patent pending). Using the best brush makers in the world as her manufacturing partner, Rae’s professionalism and attention to detail has resulted in the most innovative, functional and luxurious makeup brush range in the world. “I’m so excited to have my brushes available at Mecca Cosmetica as this is the first time anywhere in the world that customers will be able to touch and feel the brushes and experience just how amazing they are! I’m personally training the entire MECCA team on how to use them so you will have expert advice in every store.”
The Jishaku range takes traditional Japanese brush making techniques and applies them to Rae’s modern designs to create the ultimate makeup brush range. Designed for efficiency and precision, the Jishaku range incorporates Rae’s 25+ years of experience as a professional makeup artist to create tools that, even in the hands of a novice, can transform makeup application. The Jishaku range features Rae’s world first magnetic functionality, redesigned to blend seamlessly with the new streamlined look. The Jishaku brushes can stand securely upright on any surface a magnet will hold to (including Rae’s custom designed magnetic stands) – this takes up less space, makes the brushes extremely easy to organise and find, and is the ultimate in hygiene because the heads don’t have to be in contact with anything but your face. Plus, you can secure the brushes upside down for drying after cleaning!
Rae Morris’ Jishaku brush collection will be available 30th January, 2018 exclusively at Mecca Cosmetica and www.mecca.com.au.

Target pores and defeat dullness with Benefit’s new POREfessional pearl primer.  It’s the power of the POREfessional…PLUS brightening! This soft-radiance primer quickly minimizes the look of pores, locks on makeup AND helps skin look bright, boosted and  awake.

90% said complexion looked brighter whilst 91% said it minimized the look of pores and 96% said it created soft-matte radiance (based on 100 women after 1 week’s use)

The new POREfessional Pearl Primer ($53rrp) is available from all Benefit Cosmetic counters nationally.

Lancôme has drawn inspiration from new-wave French patisserie and concocted a deliciously sweet Spring 2018 collection, starring the prettiest shades and the most tempting textures. It’s a feast for the eyes!
Milky pastels and popping colours: yummy shades of guilty pleasure.  Pearly pastels that look as if they’ve been bleached with a splash of milk and vibrant attractive
hues: these two colour inspirations collide at the heart of the collection, creating graphic chromatic rhythms and especially delectable gloss-matt riffs.
The macaron has provided a recipe for recreating that rosy flush that comes from a brisk walk in the fresh air; syrup of grenadine sets the tone for brilliantly enticing lips, whilst matcha latte is served as a special fresh skin primer… For brows with an appetite for something different, there’s a coloured icing sugar look, whilst nails get a creamy, glossy glaze. All topped off with multicoloured pop-accent sprinkles.

The new collection features:
The “Yummy” Blush Bomb with the Macaron Blush and Blender – the Macaron Blush and Blender could almost be mistaken for delightful little cakes. And yet… One contains a creamy blush, whilst the other is a soft macaron blender, the perfect applicator for this formula. For utterly irresistible, “just flushed” cheeks…
The just-bitten lip effect with Jelly Flower Lip Tint – Visible through a transparent tube with a pearly white cap that has a delicate French porcelain feel, authentic flower petals float in a gorgeous pink jelly texture. Once applied, Jelly Flower Lip Tint leaves a subtle rosy pink sheen. A “syrupy” finish, which is particularly enticing when the formula is just applied at the centre of the lips.
Color Correction in a mousse or the Light Cream Duo Cushion – Lancôme has captured the colours of all our favourite cakes in two Duo Cushions that will revive
any complexion. In a case, which takes up the signature motif of the collection in green, the first one is a perfect primer: its green pistachio hue corrects all of the skin’s little flaws, whilst the apricot tone evens out and brightens the skin. The second comes in a pink case and also contains skin-illuminating apricot, combined with a strawberry red tone to give the skin a pretty pink flush. It’s all about fresh, glowing, healthy skin.

Eye Sugar Palette – With the Eye Sugar Palette, you can sprinkle your eyelids with special effects. The menu is endless…with no fewer than ten pastel and pop colours to choose from: five iridescent shades, two extra glittery tones and three ultra-pigmented, matt colours. All in a powder formula that takes on a melty, creamy feel on contact with the skin, a latest-generation texture which is easy to apply, thanks to the dual brush that comes in the case.

Bleached brows with the Sourcil Styler –  The bleached brow effect has been given a delicious dessert flavour with a bold new recipe that candy-coats the brows in a milky pink pastel with a powder finish – icing sugar-sweet. And to change it? Switch the Sourcil Styler texture from matt to glossy by using the Ombre Hypnose Mini Chubby – in matching pink as a top coat, for a satin sheen.

A candy manicure with Le Vernis –  Lancôme presents its iconic Vernis in three delicate, glossy, jelly-style shades: a smoothie pink, a lavender and a bonbon blue.
The must-have topping? The Sugar Frost top coat, which gives nails a sprinkling of heavenly flakes.

The new collection is available at all Lancôme counters in February. Visit www.lancome.com.au for more information
