GALLIANO, the sophisticated Italian liqueur of choice, will be bringing a taste of Italy to the Taste of Melbourne this Thursday 14 November by giving visitors the chance to sample the world’s first Ristretto liquer whilst indulging in an enjoyable game of Bocce with friends.

Bocce lanes have been designed by the brand to encourage festivalgoers to sample the Galliano cocktails in a festive atmosphere. There will be two Bocce lanes developed especially for this year’s Taste of Melbourne, allowing multiple players to enjoy a game of Bocce at the one time. With picket fencing and seating throughout the space, consumers can sit back, relax and unwind, enjoying their time with Galliano at Taste of Melbourne.

The hero cocktail created for Taste of Melbourne will be the Espresso Martini, made with Galliano Ristretto, a blend of natural Arabica (55%) and Robusta (45%) coffee beans, resulting in a pure and natural coffee taste, enhancing the coffee flavour and adding strong, bitter notes. Between the chocolate and creamy taste of the Arabica beans, and the strong and bitter notes from the Robusta, Galliano Ristretto provides the ultimate balance of flavour for the perfect Espresso Martini.

Other cocktails available at the Galliano bar at Taste of Melbourne 2013 will be the Vanilla Pallino, smooth, sweet and simply delicious, and the Amaretto Sour, the sweet, sour and tangy classic cocktail. Galliano has developed a wood tasting paddle to give visitors the opportunity to sample up to three Galliano cocktails.

So be sure to check out Galliano at Taste of Melbourne, starting this Thursday at Albert Park. For more information visit www.galliano.com/en/galliano/ristretto and www.tasteofmelbourne.com.au/
