FASHION TAKES CENTRE STAGE AT BLUE SAPPHIRE DAY

Racing and fashion took centre stage at this year’s Catanach’s Jewellers Blue Sapphire Day at Caulfield Racecourse. While Eloping took out the honours on the track, nudging out a determined Sultry Feeling at the finish line, it was all about style at the Blue Sapphire Ladies Luncheon hosted by Channel 7 talent Rebecca Maddern and Jason Richardson in the prestigious Heath Enclosure.

The Champagne Dame Kyla Kirkpatrick gave the captivated crowd some great tips for champagne etiquette, and Caulfield Cup Style Ambassador Nicole Warne and Caulfield Cup Social Ambassador Scherri-Lee Biggs were on hand to award best-dressed prizes.

SONY DSCWarne also took part in a fashion and racing panel discussion which also featured Saskia Williams, wife of Nick Willians and part of Team Williams, apprentice jockey Kayla Nisbet and equine veterinarian Dr Grace Forbes.
