LAND ROVER POLO IN THE CITY KICK STARTS MELBOURNE’S SUMMER SEASON

On Saturday 26 November, Land Rover Polo in the City kick- started the Melbourne’s summer season in style with a glamorous polo party in Albert Park, Melbourne. Celebrating the event’s 11^th year whilst showcasing the Range Rover Evoque Convertible, the spectacular Land Rover marquee was hosted by Land Rover ambassador Jennifer Hawkins and Melbourne City Land Rover ambassador Rebecca Judd along with Jaguar Land Rover Managing Director Matthew Wiesner.

Guests who headed down to Albert Park in their Range Rovers to tread the divots included Land Rover ambassador Jennifer Hawkins and Rebecca Judd along with Livinia Nixon, Jackie & Michael Felgate, Brit Davis, Jessica Dempsey, Dasha & Colin Gold and Dalton Graham.

The Land Rover VIP Marquee this year played on a chic ‘Miami holiday’ theme with wide-brimmed striped umbrellas, pineapples, banana leaves and palm trees instantly transported guests from park to beach-side. The fixture had its own restaurant with an array of fresh Miami Beach inspired canapés along with fresh Mojitos and Pol Roger champagne but of course the stars of the Land Rover VIP Marquee was the line up of Land Rover vehicles including the all new 2016 Range Rover Evoque Convertible.

The event is a part of the Land Rover Polo in the City series which is taking place around the country in November and December, with Land Rover hosting over 500 VIPs and customers over five weeks in five states. In its endless quest to go above and beyond, Land Rover partners with equestrian events all around the world, from its global alignment with the British Polo Day to the World Equestrian Games held in Normandy, France.
