LAND ROVER POLO IN THE CITY

Last week, Land Rover Polo in the City kicked off the start of the summer season in style in Sydney, with the introduction of the Range Rover Evoque Convertible. The world’s first premium compact convertible SUV will take centre stage as the Land Rover Polo in the City Series rolls through five cities, gathering VIPs, celebrity ambassadors and polo enthusiasts to celebrate one of summer’s landmark sporting events.

Now in its fifth year of involvement with Polo in the City and second year as naming rights sponsor, Land Rover will also host the Land Rover VIP Marquee at each of the five events. In celebration of the Range Rover Evoque Convertible, the luxe marquees around the country this year will play on a ‘Miami holiday’ theme with wide- brimmed striped umbrellas, pineapples, banana leaves and a pool feature that will instantly transport guests from park to beach-side. The polo action will be enjoyed with a Mojito and Pol Roger Champagne in hand, with a menu which will include an array of fresh Miami Beach inspired canapés. Land Rover ambassadors Jennifer Hawkins, Sally Fitzgibbons, Phil Waugh and George Gregan will make appearances throughout the series.

Throughout all seasons of the year, the stylish, high-riding Range Rover Evoque Convertible will show off its elegance across the beaches and urban playgrounds of the world. With its striking lines, muscular shoulder and tapered roof, the Evoque has become synonymous with style and contemporary city life, and the Convertible goes even further, setting new standards in design, capability and driving comfort.

The Land Rover Polo in the City series will visit five cities in five weeks within Australia starting with Sydney last week. This Saturday, Land Rover Polo in the City hits Brisbane, Dorrington Park; Melbourne, Albert Park, Saturday 26 November 2016; Perth, Langley Park, Saturday 3 December 2016 and Adelaide, Victoria Park, Friday 9 December 2016
