While Friday the thirteenth may be an unlucky day for some, for lovers of Free People, Friday the 13th of June marks the day when all your prayers have been answered.  Free People is coming to Australia and Couturing have all the details.  The label famous for its free-spirited aesthetic, is opening up its first Pop Up Shop in Sydney above the iconic Come As You Are boutique on Oxford Street. Shoppers will not only be able to purchase their favourite Free People pieces, but they will be able to shop from an Australia-exclusive capsule collection. The Free People app will ensure customers don’t miss out on getting their hands on their favourite items, allowing them to easily order the latest must-have pieces.

Staying true to its wanderlust aesthetic, the Free People store will be fit out with natural materials, handmade displays, fresh flowers and eclectic touches. Kathryn O’Connor, Free People’s Director of Marketing, PR and Engagement will be visiting Australia especially for the launch, recognising the importance of the growing market Down Under. Speaking about the Pop Up Shop, O’Connor says “We are so excited to meet our customers first hand and witness how they have embraced the brand. We are proud to further our commitment to the community here and offer a truly one-of-a-kind Free People shopping experience for the first time ever in Australia.”

As if there wasn’t incentive enough to visit the Pop Up Shop which will only be open for 3 days, the first 50 customers to arrive when the store opens its doors will receive a special gift. So bohemian babes, get your wallets ready and make sure you mark 13th June in your calendar as this is one event you don’t want to miss.
