YOUNG GUN OF WINE RETURNS FOR 2019

Following a sell-out event last year, Young Gun of Wine is on again at Prahran Market, bringing 50 of the best young winemakers for one epic evening of Aussie wine and good food to boot. Block out your diary on Saturday 13 April, because this is one event not to be missed.

Young Gun of Wine is the industry’s authority on the best emerging winemakers throughout Australia, having just announced the 2019 Top 50 winemakers earlier this month. As what is quickly becoming one of the hottest wine events of the year, the Top 50 will all gather at Prahran Market, each pouring two wines for attendees. That’s 100 of the most exciting wines from the hottest winemakers across the country right now.

Food will also be available to purchase and enjoy with all that wine. Matilda restaurant will be popping up at the event with a fire pit to offer a little taste of their South Yarra dining experience, fuelled by open flames, hot coals and incredible local produce. Matilda will be joining some Prahran Market favourites, with cheesy pasta made in a Parmigiano Reggiano wheel from Maker & Monger and baked goods from Q le Baker.

Earlybird tickets to the Top 50 event at Prahran Market are $55 and include all wine tasting as well as a Riedel glass to keep.
Young Gun of Wine is on at Prahran Market, 163 Commercial Road, South Yarra on Saturday 13 April, 7-10pm.
