THE GREVILLE BRINGS DRINKS, FOOD AND DANCE TO GREVILLE STREET

The much-anticipated and multifaceted venue The Greville at 132-134 Greville Street, Prahran has opened, just in time for Summer. The Greville Restaurant and Bar is inspired by the glitz and glam of the South of France and Italian Riviera mixed with the urban sensibility of Greville Street’s landscape and historic Victorian architecture.

The Greville is super-chic with rounded mirrors, monochrome tiles and plush velvet horizontal channel booth seating featuring in the design, accompanied with steel coated bar stools and bistro style chairs. The Greville is comprised of 3 connected areas with the idea in mind that you start with a drink, and then move through for a dining experience then up a level to the dance floor!

Patrons can enjoy curated cocktails, top shelf spirits and fine wines amongst the pink velvet walls of the Champagne Bar on entry. Follow the emerald green, marble and brass surroundings of the Restaurant to enjoy modern Australian share plates then make your way up the stairs to dance the night away at Level 1 @ The Greville. What was once Boutique now lives Level 1 @ The Greville which will be open every Friday and Saturday nights making The Greville the perfect place for the whole experience – pre- dinner cocktails, dining and dancing!

From 9pm until 3am, patrons can enjoy cocktails at the bar, hit the dance floor with Melbourne’s best DJs spinning tunes or sit back and take it all in from the booth with bottle service. Alan Coop (ex-Katuk, Maeve Fox and Steer Dining Room) The Greville’s Head Mixologist and Bar Manager has curated a bespoke cocktail menu for The Greville’s opening summer season some of the new and delicious drops include Mid Summer Nights [Four Pillars Rare Dry, Blood Orange Syrup, Ginger Juice and Sambuca], Basil Rolling [Basil infused Belvedere Vodka, St. Germain, Lime juice, Sugar and Soda Water] and Smoke & Mirrors [Vida Mezcal, Honey, Laphroaig and Angostura Bitters].

Head Chef Casey Norman presents a modern Australian menu incorporating a collection of techniques established over 16 years as a Chef. Using her experience gained in famed restaurants such as Cumulus Inc. and Baby in Melbourne to Fable in Vancouver, Casey brings a strong commitment to local sustainable produce to the table. From the Gippsland beef to the Koo Wee Rup asparagus on the menu, a commitment to Victorian producers is Norman’s top priority. Having visited The Greville’s suppliers on the farm Casey is able to be confident with the knowledge of their ethical and sustainable farming practices. Norman’s menu is aimed at sharing with her stand out dishes being the Kobe Beef  Tartare [w. Capers, Radish, Cornichons & Croutons], the Grilled Calamari [w. Smoked Ricotta, Salmoriglio, Garlic Chips & Herbs], the Yellow Fin Tuna Tartare [w. avocado, potato crisps] and the King Prawns [w. Spicy Remoulade, Apple, Quinoa Crisp].
