BROWN BROTHERS IMMERSION WEEKEND

Immersion Weekend - fun

Brown Brothers is offering the ultimate VIP experience for anyone who has ever wanted to experience life as a winemaker first-hand – from tending the vines, to sampling the first drop of the latest vintage. Visitors can immerse themselves into the culture and knowledge of the 125-year-old Milawa vineyard, and even get to sample some of the Brown family’s favourite dishes, chatting with them over lunch.

The inaugural Brown Brothers Immersion Weekend on Saturday, February 28, and Sunday, March 1, is a unique opportunity for wine lovers to become Brown Brothers VIPs and discover all of the facets of Brown Brothers that a normal visit will not uncover.

“This is the first time we’ve offered an opportunity like this – it’s for those people who have always wanted to see behind the scenes of a fully-operating winery, from tasting new vintage samples to getting their hands dirty,” Caroline Brown from Brown Brothers said.

“People are always curious about what it’s like working at Brown Brothers so we thought it would be fun to share the experience.”

The all-inclusive weekend includes:

  • Air-conditioned modern coach transfers to and from Melbourne;
  • Multiple exclusive workshops, tours, wine tastings and insights over two days;
  • A Brown family-hosted three-course food and wine matching lunch in the award-winning Patricia Table restaurant;
  • Delicious exclusive BBQ dinner in Brown Brothers’ beautiful Milawa gardens;
  • Overnight accommodation in the 4.5-star Gateway Wangaratta (including breakfast); and,
  • A stunning gourmet picnic lunch in Brown Brothers’ very special ‘Hidden Vineyard’ (you won’t want to leave).

Brown Brothers is one of Australia’s leading family-owned vineyards. Founded in 1889 by John Francis Brown, it is located at Milawa in the lower reaches of the King Valley in north-east Victoria.

The Brown Brothers Immersion Weekend, from February 28-March 1, costs $595 per person (based on twin share) or $695 per person for single accommodation. Places are limited.  For more information or to book, please call Brown Brothers Visitor Manager Paige Emery on 03 5720 5434.
