In their bid for global fashion dominance, Aussie label sass & bide have landed a major deal, securing supermodel Coco Rocha not only as the face of their new Loveshady A/W 13 Take Over campaign, but Rocha will also be taking over their social media channels for 5 days starting from 28 January.

This is a major get for sass & bide with Rocha boasting an enviable social media profile across platforms such as Twitter and Instagram. This social media heavy campaign ties in nicely with the impending opening of their New York flagship store and their upcoming runway at London Fashion Week.

Rocha will be active on sass & bide’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Tumblr accounts, snapping and sharing pictures of herself in the latest collection. Of their decision to use Rocha, sass & bide design Sarah-Jane Clarke said “Coco captures the raw and natural energy of the sass & bidce spirit. She is unique and individual and complements our brand beautifully.”

This campaign is a great move by sass & bide, who have managed to secure longevity in a notoriously fickle industry, not only with dynamic designs, but schrewd business moves, such as partnering with Myer and focusing their resources on overseas’ markets as well as Australia.
