As the cooler months are upon us, it is important to Winter proof our bodies. In the Winter months, our skin becomes dry and flaky as we use heaters and hotter water in our every day lives. The artificial heat that we rely on during the colder months, strips the skin from natural moisture resulting in less oil production. Dry skin can also become itchy, irritable and uncomfortable so it is very important to change your skin care regime to deal with these changes.

Every season requires different body care treatments as your body is effected in different ways depending on the climate.  Protect you skin from the wind and cold by wearing thermal clothing including, gloves, socks, scarves and beanies. Not only will these items keep you warm and protect you from the wind, they will lock in moisture.

In terms of  skin care products, replace your normal moisturisers to an oil or extra nourishing lotion. If you are in doubt of what to choose, opt for a thick moisturiser. After choosing a rich cream or oil, ensure that you apply religiously every it morning and night to keep your skin hydrated in the Winter.

It can be quite daunting choosing the right body care products so we’ve picked out our top five beauty body products to try this Winter.
