Each compact is handmade in Italy and features five bars of luminous colour. The glitter in the product is incredibly fine and of the highest quality. Shimmer Brick is best applied with the multi-purpose Bobbi Brown Face Blender Brush ($70), or for more precise application, try using a small contour brush. Swirl the brush across the palette to use all the colours all over the face, or use individual shades as eyeshadows. This versatile compact is the only highlighter you will ever need.
The compact is incredibly delicate, so this is definitely not one to throw in your handbag. The last thing you want to do is split the colours in the pan apart. Not that a top-up during the day is even necessary; the staying power of the shimmer is impressive, and definitely won’t crease even on the eyes over an eye primer.

The Pink Quartz colourway has the perfect combination of champagne and blush shades, which creates a gorgeous and healthy summery glow that is flattering on anyone. To create a neutral but multi-dimensional eye with Pink Quartz, brush the fourth shade (the lightest) all over the lid. Using an angled eyeliner brush, line the lash line with the second shade (the darkest), then blend a matte brown eyeshadow in the outer corner and through the crease of the eye.
