Gertrude Street Projection Festival Opening Night

For ten nights in July the Projection Festival will illuminate Gertrude Street with projection art, in addition to hosting live music, classes and forums. In celebration of local talent and local space the Festival unites artists with audience through a sometimes unfamiliar medium. On Friday the Opening Night Ceremony offers entertainment and food, before the Opening Party at the Festival Hub gets people dancing late into the night.

The Age Fun Run

Fun, fitness and feeling good. This Sunday The Age Run offers a chance for charity, for people from all levels of health and effort.  The 3 km Marvel kids event asks you to dress as a superhero, while the 5 km is a chance to run or walk, and the Brooks half-marathon stands ready for the classic runners.
