Roland Mouret is a man who knows how to dress a woman. His infamous galaxy dress, labeled by many as the ‘dress of the season’ was worn by almost every celebrity when it was first released. His beautifully tailored designs shows his great understanding and appreciation of the female form. So when Mouret decided to launch his debut bridal line, entitled The White Collection, it seemed like a natural next step after re-lauching his label after taking a 2 year hiatus in 2005.

After being approached to design a friend’s wedding dress, Mouret decided to create his own special bridal collection. Applying his sleek tailoring from his mainline, Mouret has created a line of form fitting gowns which would appeal to any bride seeking a modern aesthetic.

When asked what inspired his 5 piece collection, he said “I want my bridal dresses to be a bit sexier. I wanted to create something that is about you and your partner, a one-to-one private relationship with the dress – not just something to please friends and family.”

With rich fabrications, delicate lace and architectural ruffles, Mouret’s collection stays true to traditional bridal qualities, while introducing the flattering silhouettes he has become so well known for. For an added special touch, each piece comes with a message from the designer himself, wrapped romantically with a moleskin bow.

The White Collection is available exclusive from Net-A-Porter, with the price points ranging from $2,440 to $6,250.
