Om Nom Kitchen have launched a remarkably innovative new set of cocktails for patrons to warm their palates and senses this Winter.

Om Nom Kitchen Bar Manager and Mixologist Chris McDonald joins the team following his return to Australia after an exciting stint living and working abroad. Gathering experience and inspiration from all corners of the globe, including his most recent position at UK cocktail bar Be At One, Chris brings a flair for the creative and enjoys the challenge of striking the perfect flavour balance in his drinks.

According to Chris, “it’s the small details that impact greatly in the art of cocktails.” With his favorite ingredient being salt and his tool of choice an atomiser – he’s perfectly placed to add small, intricate flavours to his creations.

He enjoys the challenge of perfecting cult favorites such as the martini – a drink people are excessively particular about, requiring close precision to get the balance just right.

Chris is no stranger to Om Nom Kitchen’s love for all things sweet, once turning his own craving for pancakes into a cocktail involving maple syrup, chocolate, ice cream and tequila – garnished with bacon and a mini pancake. Chris’s passion for cocktails, imaginative approach, and humorous and engaging presence behind the bar are a welcome addition to the Om Nom Kitchen team.
