Steven Khalil showed why he is the master of glamour with an intimate presentation to showcase his new 2015 Couture Collection at MBFWA. Famous for his elegant wedding dresses, Khalil put a new twist on ready-to-wear adding a touch of glamour to classic silhouettes.

Khalil’s collection was perfect for the modern woman. Shapes were bold, feminine and clean. Embellished fabrics breathed life into fitted gowns which were masterfully tailored. There was something for every shape. Skirts ranged from tight pencil to full and flirty and necklines swapped between conservative to daring.

The show closed with three stand out white gowns, showing exactly why Khalil has become one of Australia’s most in demand bridal couturiers. The long sleeved fitted gown featured exceptional intricate detailing all along the front which carried through to the back of the dress. This was followed by a luxe bohemian look which was elevated by beautiful floral detailing carefully worked into the delicate fabric. The final gown providing one of the week’s showstopping moment. The voluminous full skirt cinched in waist and embellished veil will certainly go down as one of the most memorable looks of the week.
