Last Thursday, fashionistas escaped from Melbourne’s sweltering heat wave to come and celebrate LIFEwithBIRD‘s 5th store opening in Victoria. The well-dressed crowd sipped on ciders, wine and Moscow Mules as they admired the pristine interior of the brand new store, as well as the beautiful collection that donned the racks.

The store front window reads “LIFEwithBIRD – Project 12“. The idea is nostalgic of a pop-up store that is semi-permanent, allowing the label to explore its placement amongst the strip of the Hawksburn Village boutiques for the next 12 months.

Lit up by the natural light, unfinished woodwork, cement and angular shapes make up the unique shop floor design, encapsulating and embracing the eclectic collection.

The Hawksburn store is the first LIFEwithBIRD boutique where designers, Nicholas and Bridget, have have been involved with the store’s interior design. The space is raw and minimal, with concrete floors and wooden change rooms that carry a somewhat ‘warehouse’ feel, allowing the clothing to truly speak for themselves.

The new store is a beautiful addition to the existing LIFEwithBIRD boutiques in Victoria. Be sure to check it out next time you’re off for a shop!
