With LMFF only a few sleeps away, Couturing picks out our favourite Beauty events during the festival. As L’Oreal puts it, these events are “Putting the Beauty into Fashion”, and so are a must for all beauty afficiandos.
L’Oreal Paris and marie claire Beauty Workshop
The amazing L’Oreal Paris Make-Up Director, Rae Morris, puts on the much anticipated beauty workshops with the help of marie claire magazine. This is a fantastic opportunity to hear from Australia’s top make-up artist, learn her tips and tricks, and hear about the latest beauty trends.

Some of the tips and tricks that Rae taught us at last year’s workshop included:

Applying liquid eyeliner – always apply from the outside of the eye inwards and keep the stroke as close to the lash line as possible. That way, if you make a mistake it can be hidden in the lashes!

Choosing the right foundation – When selecting a foundation shade for yourself always try the foundation on your chest area rather than on your face as this is the best indicator of your true colouring.
