The 2016 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix hits Melbourne again this Thursday and this year, the official launch party, “Glamour On The Grid”  (formerly known as GP@23 at Crown) is taking trackside glamour and fun to a new level.

This year’s 2016 Grand Prix Ambassador, Brit Davis, has already been busy trackside showcasing what glamour really means at the Australian Grand Prix. We caught up with Brit ahead of this week’s Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix.

What has it been like so far? And what are you looking forward to the most?

I’ve had an amazing g few weeks and I’ve loved every minute of it! The role has given me the opportunity to show and tell others who I really am and challenge myself with new opportunities presented to me through this ambassadorship role. I’m most looking forward to the last day Sunday where I can watch the race in the afternoon with new friends, family and  partner Joel.

Do you have any fashion tips for anyone going to the GP or GP party?

I always say ‘dress for the weather’. There is nothing worse than being cold or too hot at an event, I feel the cold terribly and always love to be warm at events. Stick to what you feel comfortable, but if you are willing to push the boundaries for the Glamour on the Grid party (which calls for evening wear as the dress code), go for it! It’s a chance to go glam and red carpet events are such special occasions!

What are some of your key beauty products you use as part of your beauty regime?

Well I would have to say my key beauty products are natural ones; green tea & water! I have 3-4 cups of tea a day and at least 3 litres of water a day. I feel that being hydrated all the time keeps my skin looking fresh. One product that I do use religiously is Sunday Riley’s ‘Good Genes’ & ProPlenish to regenerate collagen.

Do you have any tips for our readers?

My number one tip would be drink more water! I constantly have a litre of water with me wherever I go and to just look after yourself with what goes into your body.

Can you give readers a sneak peak about your fashion beauty looks for the GP?

Being the 2016 Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix ambassador gives me the opportunity to push my style boundaries a little more. I’m looking forward to wearing some of Australia’s best designers and dialling up my accessories as well. I’ll be wearing some key Autumn/Winter trends such as over-the knee-boots, flares and off the shoulder blouses.
