GROSVENOR HOTEL INVITES KIDS TO A HANDS-ON HEALTHY BURGER MASTERCLASS IN THE SEPTEMBER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
Kids Burger Masterclass_GH

St Kilda’s Grosvenor Hotel has for many years been a haven for parents who wish to encourage healthy eating habits amongst children. In September, the team will further advocate this stance, launching a Kids Burger Masterclass series, led by head chef and proud beef expert Paul Tyas.

The event series, devised by the Grosvenor Hotel and St Kilda Burger Bar team as a creative and healthy response to Melbourne’s burger-loving dining culture, will run across three consecutive days in the September school holidays. It will be a fun and informal afternoon activity, encouraging kids to enjoy cooking from an early age, while learning about nutrition.

During each session, Paul will demonstrate how to make burgers a healthy meal choice, discussing the best alternate ingredients, – from the all-important patty to the style of bun – as well as where to find them and how to prepare them.

With assistance from Paul and their guardian, the kids will enjoy a hands-on experience, selecting from a buffet of nourishing ingredients and assembling their very own burgers.

The children will also get to go behind-the-scenes, with a guided tour of the St Kilda Burger Bar’s very own burger truck.

Venue owner, Rabih Yanni has long believed in a grass-roots approach to health in youngsters, which extends to the kid’s menu on offer at Grosvenor Hotel.
