In order to compete the Melbourne’s ever-evolving food landscape, Cecconi’s are constantly updating their menu to ensure they are always using the freshest, seasonal ingredients.

The new Autumn menu is a real celebration of flavours. Unique entrees really focused on combining textures and taste. Caramelised scallops are cooked to perfection. Combined with delicious crispy pork, shaved fennel and blood orange dressing.

Tangy seared tuna is expertly combined with kipflers, green beans and parmesan cream. For a delightful Italian touch Potato Gnocchi is mixed with blue swimmer crab meat, bisque, cherry tomatos and chives. To refresh your palette, Beetroot salad combined with burrata, candy beets and spiced hazelnut is the perfect transition to mains.

A comforting Autumn mushroom risotto, taleggio and fried sage is a delicious opener. Seafood lovers would enjoy the beautiful smoky flavour of John Dory, mixed with black mussels, saffron and a stunning smoked cod broth. For something hearty and tasty, you need to try the Roasted duck breast, confit leg, brussel sprouts, bacon combined with chestnut spaetzle.

While its easy to fill up on all the delicious mains and entrees, you need to make sure you leave room for dessert. A delicate blend of Lemon yoghurt cream, casis jam, crispy meringue, vanilla sugar has just the right amount of tang to finish off your meal. If your palette prefers a more chocolately, you’ll love the Gianduja cheesecake, hazelnut nougat, oreo crumble and chocolate sorbet.
