Happy New Year readers! Hope everyone had a relaxing break and enjoyed seasonal festivities with their loved ones. I got to spend some time over the holidays catching up on bits and pieces as well as trying out some of the latest and greatest beauty products on the market! Here are just a few that I’ve really loved. If you have tried them too, let me know what you think!

The Body Shop Spa of the World Japanese Camellia Cream

I love this body cream and I have been using it religiously over the last month or so. First things first, I love it because it is easily absorbed and really easy to apply. Secondly, it does not have any greasy residue like other body creams out there. The formulation uses camellia oil from Japan that gives a gentle fragrance as well as really moisturising your skin. It really does leave your skin feeling velvety soft and smooth.

It’s the perfect addition to your summer body care regime and given a small amount goes a long way, it’s really great value for money.

The 350ml tub is $52.95 and available at www.thebodyshop.com.au and The Body Shop.

St Tropez Self Tan Luxe Facial Oil

I am a huge advocate of minimising sun damage through using fake tan or covering up! I use fake tan for my face and body so that I won’t wind up with pigementation on my face or wrinkles! Hence, when the St Tropez Self Tan Luxe Facial Oil was released late last year, it became my go to product for creating the perfect tan for my face. It provides a streak free and natural tan for the face and because the formulation is lightweight, non-greasy and quick drying it’s the perfect product!  The oil formulation is easy to apply and you can’t go wrong with it. Just make sure you exfoliate your face the day before you use it and you’ll be as sun kissed! The tan lasts for about 4-5 days!

St Tropez Facial Oil is available at David Jones, Priceline and www.sttropeztan.com.au

it Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Illumination Cream

Coverage is key in my books when it comes to my face and this product delivers it in spades. I am using this day and night at the moment as it gives great coverage plus provides hydration and even provides nourishing ingredients all in one little tube. Oh and it also helps that it is SPF 50+ meaning it really is a great all in one product.

The colour correcting cream provides the perfect coverage for the face as it gives a similar finish to wearing foundation. I really have loved wearing this over the holidays as I’ve just applied this to my face, added some bronzer and eyeliner and I’m ready to face the world. Minimal fuss but maximum effect.

This particular Illumination version of the Your Skin But Better cream is enhanced with illuminating light technology that gives a lovely finish to the skin leaving it bright and radiant. It’s also infused with an advanced anti-aging hydrating serum and is powered with nourishing ingredients such as vitamins A, C, B and E and hyaluronic acid so it’s also doing good for my face as well as providing coverage!

it Cosmetics is available at Sephora.
