Attention southsiders! Everyone’s favourite luxe minimalist label, Skin And Threads, has broken ground on their latest boutique, and it’s right in the heart of Albert Park. The fourth Melbourne-based boutique for the brand, the store opened Monday in prime position along the Dundas Place shopping precinct, adding their signature style to the inner suburb.

Albert Park was an obvious choice for the location of the brands’ sixth stand-alone store, with the beach and parks in close proximity and the village feel perfectly complementing Skin and Threads’ lifestyle philosophy, and just in time for fashion conscious residents to refresh their winter wardrobes.

The space itself is stunning, with architect extraordinaire, Demie Manolas blending luxe fittings in with natural materials -polished concrete floors, Tasmanian oak panelling and textured white rendering juxtaposed with marble clothes hooks and bespoke light fittings. To add a more personal touch, canvased family photos are housed in the change rooms, delivering warmth and sophistication to the 80 square metre retail space.

Founders Penelope Cohen and Emma Gathercole are excited to introduce a one – stop shop for fashion conscious wardrobe staples along with a diverse offering of accessories, footwear and lifestyle desirables to the Albert Park region. Cohen and Gathercole are also excited to invite customers to a gift when they make any purchase from the new store until the 8th of March, receiving a free Skin and Threads merino wool scarf worth $49.

You’ll find the new Skin and Threads boutique at  115 Dundas Place, Albert Park.
