Wanderlust – SS13/14

Bless’ed Are the Meek showcased a tribal inspired collection at MBFWA 2013. Models took to the runway against a beautiful digitalised Australian landscape. Metallic accents, sequin detailing and sheer paneling kept the range on trend, while detailing such as hemline and jacket lines rolling like the Australian landscape added an interesting element to garments.

Silhouettes ranged between relaxed and flowing, to fitted body con styles. A sports luxe element was introduced with exercise style vests and crop tops paired with matching shorts.

The palette centered around a scheme that echoed that of the Australian landscape, from crystal clear water blue to dusty pinks, creams and black, designs were enhanced with detailing which was almost reminiscent of contour lines. The collection presented a range of styles to suit all body shapes and was and a beautiful tribute to the varied landscape of Australia.
