Skin & Threads have collaborated with Melbourne style icon Rebecca Judd to launch an exclusive capsule collection full of great winter basics which will keep you warm this season. After being a long time fan of the label, Judd was approached by Skin & Threads founder Penelope Cohen to collaborate, and the concept grew organically from there. Taking inspiration was Judd’s classic meet luxe style, the range re-works wardrobe classic with a modern touch. Heavy metal inspired graphic t-shirts emblazoned with the words “The Twig”, is a tongue in cheek nod to Judd’s maiden name Twigley.

The chambray shirt, luxurious knit jumpers and skin tight jeans will slot nicely into your wardrobe and are guaranteed to be on high rotation. The hero piece of the collection is a padded lace bomber jacket with gold detailing, which although being a statement piece, is worth investing in as it’s classic enough to stand the test of time in the fickle world of fashion.

Speaking about the collaboration, Judd said “I love the relaxed but refined look of Skin and Threads and the gorgeous, quality fabrics the label uses, so I jumped at the chance to collaborate with the team. I loved working together with Penny Cohen, drawing inspiration from some of my favourite stylistic looks and also embracing my own personality. We discussed fabrics, leathers, lace, cuts, silhouettes, fit – you name it! It was an amazing experience to be so involved with and see the collection come to life from start to finish.”
