St Kilda’s renowned bayside bar launches weekend boozy brunch menu. Renowned for their contemporary Spanish / Southern American sharing plates, Lona in Acland Street is set to introduce Melburnians to the ultimate boozy brunch.

Bayside food lovers will be treated to beautifully curated dishes from culinary entrepreneur Charles Sedgley, complete with a suggested drink pairing to set your weekend off on the right track. From fine dining Barca fame, Charles is now the mastermind behind sister-restaurant, Lona; hand crafting a relaxed contemporary, casual dining experience that celebrates sharing and the beachside lifestyle of St Kilda.

The new menu is one the team is exceptionally proud of – think poached eggs, crispy pork belly, jalapenos, smashed avocado and quince chutney, paired perfectly with a Bloody Mary, or freshly made butter pancakes with mouth watering mascarpone and strawberries served with a decadent glass of Frosé.

Boasting the manliest of breakfast burgers – no bacon and eggs in sight – instead featuring a wagyu beef patty and truffle salami paired with local pale ale, Lona’s brunch menu is set to be a crowd pleaser. Add a side of seaside air and you’re onto a winner.

For those looking for a healthier option or simply cannot bear the thought of a hair of the dog, every dish on the brunch menu can be served sans alcohol.

Lona’s brunch menu is being dished up every Saturday and Sunday from October 14th and is set to be the best boozy brunch in town.
