MR MIYAGI

Miyagi is ready to celebrate another Valentine’s Day, spreading the love far and wide. Ready to
please everyone, as usual. The restaurant will be in full swing offering an 8 course set menu of Miyagi staples. For the special occasion, Mr. M has brought back a cult favourite for the lovers. A deliciously rich Chocolate Mess that will be sure to leave mouths drooling and chocolate connoisseurs weak at the knees. Set menu also includes bottomless Moet & Chandon. The 8 course menu includes Mr Miyagi favourites like the Salmon Nori Taco, Happy’s Handroll and Miyagi Fried Chicken (MFC)

This experience is $139pp and is bookable at the Mr. Miyagi website mrmiyagi.com.au. Places for booking are limited but as normal, tables will be available for walk-in on the night.

 

STOKEHOUSE

Home to one of Melbourne’s most romantic bayside and sunset views, Melbourne’s iconic Stokehouse is the perfect place to celebrate Valentine’s Day with someone special. Guests can indulge in a seasonally-driven, five-course tasting menu curated by Head Chef Ollie Hansford, finished with Van Haandel Group Pastry Chef Lauren Eldridge’s ‘Bleeding Heart’ dessert – a salted chocolate mousse heart with liquid strawberry.

  • Five-course dinner and glass of sparkling – $165 per person

BOMBA

Say it with dinner on Valentine’s Day at Bomba. Share the love and treat your partner to a delicious four-course Spanish fare by Head Chef, Matt Jordan.The menu includes spicy Cantimpalo chorizo; guindilla, manchego and valdeon croqueta; roast barramundi with manzanilla saffron broth; rolled pork with chicharrón and pedro ximenez sauce and a sweet chocolate mousse to finish.

FATTO BAR & CANTINA

That’s Amore! Italian favourite Fatto Bar and Cantina is embracing the day of romance with San Valentino, a candlelit dinner set under the vines on the Fatto terrace. Featuring a special chocolate and amaretto tartufo dessert and a signature Valentine’s Day cocktail, couples are invited to settle in on the terrace from 7:30 pm on Thursday, 14 February.

Sampling a range of dishes from Fatto’s a la carte menu, couples will be treated to uninterrupted views across the city while being serenaded with live music. Lauren Eldridge (Van Haandel Group Pastry Chef) has created a sharing dessert for two – a chocolate gelato and almond & amaretto gelato with a cherry centre, all encased in dark chocolate.

A unique Valentine’s Day cocktail the ‘Amaro Mio’ featuring Montenegro Amaro, gin, raspberries and egg white will also be available for the evening.

CIAO CIELO

Located in Port Melbourne, those looking for a more traditional, romantic setting, can book a table inside the stunning, historic Ciao Cielo dining room and indulge in pacific oysters with shallot dressing, wood-fired local sardines with pickled onion, pine nuts and currants, chicken liver parfait, vincotto grapes and crips to start, followed by the likes of 12 hour pork neck with blood plum, mustard greens and ash onion, Sardinian style goat leg with wild olives, fennel, chilli, polenta dumplings and pangratto as well as the crowd favourite, spanner crab spaghetti with confit tomato, chilli and garlic. A special dessert to share will be created by head chef Bryan Nelson in collaboration with pastry chef Simon Colacino. Valentine’s dinner at Ciao Cielo is a set price of $85pp.
