Petite Grand’s ‘Blame My Gypsy Soul’ collection has that elusive ability to appeal to just about every woman. Rich in its simplicity but still awe inspiring in its attention to detail, Petite Grand’s summer offering transcends the usual fashion-slave target market, appealing to the frivolity of youth, the business woman longing to stay in tune with her inner boheme, the young at heart and yes, the fashion devotees. Petite Grand’s designs are what one looks for in fine jewellery- delicate and feminine with a directional edge. These are pieces that would look just at home paired with an evening gown as they would with ripped denim and your boyfriend’s leather jacket. Made to be layered, each piece compliments each other whilst allowing you to create your own unique style. Made from 14K plated Gold and Rose Gold and 925 Sterling Silver, each piece is hand-made in Sydney, Australia; like you needed another incentive to buy locally.

Designer Tanja Kovacevic has always had a passion for jewellery, but it wasn’t until her stint as an accessories buyer that she had the opportunity to genuinely define her personal aesthetic: understated, delicate and innately feminine. In November 2010, after 15 demanding years in the fashion industry, Tanja decided to take some time-out and devote herself to her dream of having her own jewellery line. She created PetiteGrand later that year. Unique in its simplicity PetiteGrand offers effortless style, with easy pieces that can be worn all day at work and then transcend into evening. They are little pieces of luxury you can build on and layered to create your own expression. Tanja is influenced simply by what she and her friends would want to wear; the ease of everyday pieces, the purity of geometric shapes and the understated elegance of precious metals and silk cord. Tanja has worked as an Accessories buyer, Brand, Marketing and Sales manager, Product developer and Operations Manger for companies like Zimmermann, Mela Perdie and Mawi (cult UK jewellery label), amongst many others. Her jewellery is made with love by hand in Elizabeth Bay and sold in various boutiques nationally.
