Watch out J Hawk, there’s a new bronzed babe in town looking to take your tanning crown. After months of teasing us on social media, Lara Bingle’s tanning line The Base by Lara Bingle is ready to launch.

The subject of ongoing pregnancy rumours, Bingle didn’t reveal any signs of a bump when she posted the below campaign teaser shot. Talking about where the concept of the The Base came from, Bingle said “Being around makeup and hair and photoshoots all my life, I wanted to create products that were illuminating as well as tanning. I wanted to make something of my own that looked luxurious, but at a small price.”

So what do you need to know about the range? There are more than 8 products available including Instant Tan Mousse, Gradual Tanning Lotion, Body Glow Oil, Wash-Off Bronzing Gel, Shimmer Illuminator and Matte Bronzing Illuminator, LB cream (which is like BB Cream) and a Self-Application Tanning Mitt. Nothing will cost more than $39 meaning we can all afford to get that Bingle glow. Bingle has also revealed that she will be launching her own swimwear line early next year. After designing a successful line for Cotton On, there is no doubt Bingle’s first all black collection will be a hit with consumers.

Speaking about the line, Bingle said “My focus has been to offer the modern woman the best line of products to achieve a healthy, safe glow, a look of vitality and well being, one that enhances their inner beauty.”

“A glow is good. A tan always looks good, but a glow makes you feel good.”
