During fashion week, the style on the streets is almost more interesting than what’s on the runway! There is something intriguing about looking at the way people put outfits together and interpret trends in their own way.

Couturing bring you some of our favourite street style shots during the Spring/Summer 2012 runway shows in Paris, Milan and London. It is interesting to see how the fashion differs from city to city. Parisienne street style is very fashion forward. There is a mix of designer labels and vintage finds. There also seems to be a lot of experimentation with colour and textures. Milan street style by comparison, is more tailored with simple, cleaner lines. The fashion is more about mixing silhouettes and block colours and neutrals, rather than mixing prints. London street style seems very edgy and relaxed with a lot of quirky touches such as cute motifs on dresses and tops.

We love how countries, states, cities, even suburbs can develop their own unique style from the personalities who live and frequent there. Fashion is such a great way to express who you are and how your feeling, and I think with the rise in street style, more and more people are paying attention to what you wear. So next time you go out think about putting that extra little bit of effort in to what you put on, because you never know who’s watching!
