At only 21, Sydney producer Flume is doing some extrodinary things with his sound, his new album shows a diverse range of sound that he brings to his audience. Great for Monday morning traffic/public transport.

 

 


Lana Del Rey-
Born to Die- Paradise Edition

(USA) Indie/Pop

An extension from her Born To Die album features eight new songs, this album is a favourite, Lana Del Rey keeps on delivering her sultry, dark sound to her loyal fans.
 

The Weeknd- Trilogy (USA) R&B/Electronic

Three albums rolled into one, is the electronic, smooth R&B sound of The Weeknd, there are some great, mellowed tracks on here, including ‘The Zone’ featuring Drake.

 

 

 

 

 

13th Tuesday:
Kaff-eine – Bonyard Exhibition

Artist Kaff-eine displays her first solo exhibition away from her street-art. The exhibition, Boneyard shows off her macabre, intricate style which is beautiful and absolutely breathtaking. Kaff-eine describes this show as a topography of dualities where boldness intersects with fragility.
Her exhibition Boneyard is currently open to the public from 7-9.30pm at Just Another Project Space, 153 Greville Street Prahran.
 

 

 

14th Wednesday:
Kinki Gerlinki Garage Sale
Melbourne retailers Kinki Gerlinki are hosting their annual garage sale running a week long from the 10th-18th November. Including discounted items from their new and past stock and SO MANY SHOES, they have such fashion-forward styles, and you have no excuse not to go!
The sale runs from Kinki Gerlinki HQ at 209 Sydney Road, Brunswick.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

15th Thursday:
Ballet & Fashion; NGV
A free exhibition held at the National Gallery of Victoria incorporating the creative design of fashion and the artistic flow of dance, including some of fashion’s leading designers such as Giles Deacon, Collette Dinnigan, Valentino, Akira Isogawa and many more. Ballet & Fashion will be on display at NGV International, St Kilda Road from 3rd November- 19th May, 2013, Wednesday-Monday 10-5pm.

 

 

 

 

16th Friday:
Melbourne Music Week Opening Night

Kick-start your weekend with a bang at the opening night of Melbourne Music Week, the opening party at a ‘secret location’ warehouse. Join in the fun and enjoy the music, this is sure to go off with a bang. The warehouse will be home to many activities, gigs and film screenings throughout the week, much a’ do in Melbourne for music week.
Melbourne Music Week runs from 16-24th November.

17th Saturday:
Naysayer & Gilsun

One of the most anticipated gigs of Melbourne Music Week are Naysayer & Gilsun, playing at the where?house (location
revealed 16th November) a mix of experimental and electronic, these guys are spectacular to see live.
