Melbourne Music Week (MMW), is about to take the city by storm, so listen carefully when I say this is not to be missed. This week will include a flurry of films, concerts, workshops, industry events, and a selection of things to do for the kids. The excitement kicks off this Friday night the 16th with a highly anticipated where?house party at a ‘secret’ location…

…or is it?

Couturing can indeed confirm that MMW will host their opening party at Melbourne’s antiquated 88 year-old gem, the Argus Building (shh). It’s being transformed, redecorated into a live music venue for the entirety of the week, being sure to wow all those in its presence.

Melbourne Music Week, isn’t only about music, ‘Cinemix’ is something fresh, new and exclusive to MMW, it joins the ultimate forces of music and cinema, made possible by the composers of some of the most loved soundtracks of all time. Only two screenings will be shown on Thursday the 22nd and Friday the 23rd. The Argus building will be home to many film screenings throughout the festival, not only that but artist Q&A’s, live gigs and workshops all from 11am daily for the entirety of MMW.
