Maison Martin Margiela much anticipated collection for H&M launch globally yesterday and Couturing brings you a close up look at this beautifully tailored collection. Fans queued throughout the night to get their hands on a piece of Margiela magic.

 

Signature pieces from past collections were carefully reworked to create a more accessible range.

 

With dresses made from car-sear covers, puffy cocoon jackets and clear perspex heeled shoes, the fashion forward designs won’t be for everyone. However, where some high-end/high street collaborations have failed to carry across the designer’s aesthetics, the Margiela for H&M collection has successfully maintained the quirky edge Margiela has become famous for.
