Classic shapes and bold lines teamed with simplistic prints dominated the By Johnny runway this afternoon at MBFWA. Shift dresses and peplums were a key highlight with a matte satin trend also making a strong appearance. Soft colours such as lime and baby blue were key elements evoking images of a demure business woman who can go from boardroom to picnic depending on accessories.

Key pieces include a delightful peplum/top combo with a subtle navy sketch detail. This look teamed with a pencil skirt is modern elegance to a tee. Also stunning is the floral sketch print in a full length shift dress with shoulder cutout.

The By Johnny collection is a fun and relaxed look into staying modern yet relaxed in a fashion forward corporate world. Easy and simple to wear, these pieces don’t need too much to make them work.
